Glór na Móna and Naomh Eoin partner up to offer Irish classes for GCSE, AS and A-Level Students

A new series of Irish classes will be running in Naomh Eoin CLG clubrooms in association with Glór na Móna. The ten week course of classes which will begin on Thusday 24th March will cater for GCSE, AS and A-Level students preparing for summer exams. Conversation and beginners classes will also be made available for adults as part of a programme that will bring traditional music sessions to the club alongside céilidh dancing classes with Moya Connolly for all to enjoy!

Qualified teachers with years of experience teaching Irish at all levels will be taking the classes that will give young students the opportunity to make the final push that could make the difference in a grade, so to push that C up to a B or that B up to an A whilst brushin up on your Irish come along and sign up on Thursday 3rd March, Naomh Eoin CLG, Whiterock Road, 7.30pm.

Seán Ó Corráin, Irish language officer with Glór na Móna said, “Glór na Móna are very pleased and encouraged to work with Naomh Eoin to improve the Irish of students who are preparing for exams. This course will help local young people make a final push to improve their grades in GCSEs or A-Levels which could later be important in securing a University place on the course of their choice, whether they choose to continue studying Irish or not.”
