As part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge 2018 programme, Alan Titley will look at the history of Ireland, significant periods and events as well as the impacts on country and language had the events had alternative outcomes.
Alan Titley is a writer and scholar. He is an Emeritus Professor in Modern Irish with UCC, a former Head of the Irish Department in St Patrick’s College DCU and a member of the Royal Academy of Ireland. Along with his academic work, he has written six novels, four short story collections along with dramas and literary and history documentaries.
